Vision and Mission
Vision:
Development of living standards of the general population of Chuadanga district through social welfare, protection, empowerment and development.

Mission:
Use of above-mentioned and resource-based resources, through the partnership with relevant stakeholders through the development of integrated and social services, improves the quality of life and social development of the common people of Chuadanga district.

 

 

 

Annotation:

Social services department is one of the other national organizations of the government. Social work was started in the country in 1955 but in 1961 social services department was created. Today, the creation of the 1960s has been promoted to the Department of Social Services.

The activities of the Directorate were initially based on city-based and service. At present, this department has expanded at grassroots level throughout the country. Department of Social Welfare, Social Welfare Ministry is working relentlessly to strengthen the social safety net with comprehensive and multipurpose programs for the welfare and development of the destitute, neglected, backward, poor, orphans, autistic and disabled people and the disadvantaged sections of the society.
